Wichita city leaders are responsible for the current funding shortfalls for the Wichita Fire Department. Budget planning is currently underway. Let these officials know that doing things on the cheap and jeopardizing public safety is an issue. Urge them to negotiate in good faith with firefighters on a new contract and properly fund fire safety and emergency response in Wichita.
